What We’re Drinking: Wines of the Week
Life is too short to drink bad wine…
So why waste time drinking plonk? We’ve rounded up the wines you SHOULD be drinking in this week’s edition of ‘Wines of the Week’
Ironstone Obsession Symphony California was the white #iYellowFav at #CaliWineJam and for good reason. It is super approachable especially in a sea of Chardonnay’s, this wine really stands out as being the ABC option (anything but Chardonnay)
TASTING NOTE: Pale lemon; aromas of stone fruit, with floral ripe peach, ripe apple, lychee and tropical notes; off-dry, light-bodied, balanced fresh acidity; grapey flavours of delicious apple, peach, floral rose & tropical fruit- via LCBO
McGuigan Black Label Rosé – if you haven’t seen our video with award-winning winemaker Neil. Check it out here. For the value at price point, this wine is so delicious that we know it is what you will be drinking once patio season is in full swing.
TASTING NOTE: The iconic rosés of Provence are the inspiration for this Australian version that is made using the traditional blend of sauvignon blanc and grenache. The result is a wine that is full of sweet red berry character that is balanced with crisp acidity – via LCBO

Josh Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon was another one of our
TASTING NOTE: The bouquet is rich with dark fruits, cinnamon, clove and toasty oak flavors. The wine is juicy on the palate with blackcurrant and blackberry flavors prominent, accented by roasted almonds, vanilla and hazelnuts, finishing long with fine, firm tannins – via JoshCellars.com
