Post #21 – Support the Aids Walk for Life (by Angela Aiello)

If you happen to have missed our Santa Margherita event on Wednesday July 28th – that is simply too bad. It was an amazing night of Live Music by Emilio Fuentes while we sipped on Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio and Prosecco at one of Queen West’s coolest and unique Cafe’s Tequila Bookworm all while supporting a really great cause! A portion of our proceeds from the door were donated to the Scotiabank Aids Walk for Life (on Sept 19, 2010). It was a fantastic night of great company – 100 people came to show support, awesome wines (Yum! to sparkling and Pinot Grigio on the Patio) and  to boot iYellow members showed they can support a really great cause. Over the next couple of weeks be sure to purchase a bottle of the Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio as 50 cents from every bottle will support the Scotiabank Aids Walk for Life, and when you’re standing in the LCBO and don’t know what the heck to bring to the party, or serve to your guests, pick something up that does something positive in the world. If we all can do even something small to support and improve this world, isn’t that worth it and what we should be doing anyway!
